Title: OUCH!
Post by: Iancshippee on July 02, 2017, 07:27:18 AM
Battling a bout of Shingles right now. I'm quite surprised at just how painful a virus it is. Surprised I contracted it at 34 as well, I thought this was something that came later in life. Oh well, perhaps it means more time st the bench!

Here's wishing you a speedy recovery. But it does seem a bit far to go to get more workbench time!

Best wishes
Nigel

Hope you recover fairly quickly Ian, I had mine when I was in my early 50's and as you say it is very painful, took about a month to clear up.

Nasty development, Ian. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. In the interim, enjoy the Bench time if you can!
Cheers,
Lance

Many thanks everyone, I was able to take some time to start assembling my Copper State Gnome 9N rotary, which has been pleasantly cathartic! I'll start a thread in the "under construction" section soon for it and my Dragon Fokker D.VIII. Lots of sympathy to those who have gone through this before! The pain meds do nearly nothing, being busy is the best medicine I have found.
